Each year, Bethesda Magazine celebrates inspiring women in our community in the September/October issue. This year, we are honoring the featured women with our second annual Women Who Inspire Luncheon. We will be coming together to honor these extraordinary women and hear their inspiring stories. 

What Is Women Who Inspire? We invite our readers to nominate inspiring women in our community for our annual Women Who Inspire feature and this year you didn’t disappoint! We received an amazing 100 nominations and, as you can imagine, it was tough to narrow it down to just six.  

The six women selected for Bethesda Magazine’s fourth annual Women Who Inspire feature represent a variety of backgrounds and fields. A leader in human genetics research, an advocate for people who are blind, a TV anchor involved in the community, a public school principal—they are all making a difference in their work and their communities.
