Dr. Glaser from Kids Eye Care of Maryland (www.kidseyecare.com) works with a team of seven pediatric eye doctors having one of the best and largest exclusively pediatric ophthalmology and Adult Strabismus practices in the US. Kids Eye Care of Maryland not only specializes in pediatric eye disorders including eye misalignment and myopia prevention management but also surgical correction of Adult Strabismus where long-standing issues with double vision can often be significantly improved with a quick and safe outpatient surgical procedure.
In 1997, Dr. Glaser opened his private practice devoted to medical and surgical eye care for children and infants along with Adult Strabismus.
Dr. Glaser did his specialty training at Northwestern University in Chicago after completing his internship and residency in Ophthalmology at Georgetown University here in Washington, D.C. He currently has an academic affiliation with The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP).
Dr. Glaser is a member of his related professional organizations (AAO and AAPOS). He served in an elected role on the Executive Committee for the AAP Section on Ophthalmology. He is a member of the Pediatric Eye Disease Investigator Group and was the top recruiter nationally for one of the landmark NIH-funded Amblyopia Treatment Studies. He is an author of over 100 medical publications, and he is consistently voted one of Washington’s Top Doctors in Washingtonian Magazine with several awards including a Specialty Award by The Montgomery County Pediatric Society.
