Police and county emergency crews responded to a shooting Wednesday morning in Rockville after a male victim reported he was bleeding from the chest after being shot twice, according to radio transmissions.

The shooting reportedly took place around 3:30 a.m. on Sawdust Circle, according to the transmissions.

Responding officers found a firearm and were working to establish who the owner was, the transmissions said. A resident of the street had called 911 after hearing someone yelling outside for help.

Montgomery County police and Rockville City police did not immediately respond to MoCo360’s requests for comment Wednesday morning.
