There are so many firsts that we look for from our children and cherish. We hold on to them, recalling them sometimes at times when our children are being less than perfect; recanting stories of them with new parents; sharing them with fellow “veteran” parents; savoring the tales for when we become grandparents ourselves. An editor and writer for over a decade, Geiss has published both in-print and on-line. She runs Red Pencil Editing Services, is the creator and Editor-in-Chief of theWAHMmagazine, and is the host of PIVTR's Cyber Savvy show. She and her husband are raising their son in the suburbs of Detroit.
